I’m Julie, and I absolutely love being a Marriage Celebrant! I have done so many weddings, I could lose count, but I don’t because every couple I marry holds a special place in my heart. I bring to you, joy, kindness, humour, inclusiveness, and presentation. Each ceremony I do, is about you and how you want your love story to be heard.

With 5 star reviews , I draw upon years of theatre performance to ensure your ceremony is beautifully scripted and clearly presented. These skills transfer fabulously into my MC duties too, if you should also require me for that exciting role !

Oh and about me… I love gardening and fashion, cooking and driving, am a ridiculous romantic and love keeping fit, I get soppy over babies and love Crime/Thriller movies, my family and partner mean the world to me and I wish I had a puppy.

Because I am with you every step of the way.  From the first enquiry phone call though our in person meetings to your wedding day, I am committed and available to you both. On the day, I will settle your nerves, and reassure you throughout the ceremony. There is likely to be laughter and tears, love and joy, all of which contribute  to a beautiful Marriage Ceremony…. so lets do this together.

You certainly can!   Many couples book me to be both Celebrant and MC for their special day.  By having me as both, your day becomes seamless.  Your guests are already familiar and comfortable with me from the get-go.  And most importantly,   I already have a trusting and meaningful bond with you…the Bride and Groom.  I bring my personality, organisational skills and a fab sense of humour to your reception, working together with caterers, speakers and Bands/DJ’s to ensure everything runs smoothly and joyously to the very end.

Ahh, the “point of difference” question….so very important when choosing the right Celebrant.  My Ceremonies are not only Bespoke, they are  also written from my heart and are fully built upon the relationship I have developed with you both….right from that first phone call.  I am a people person, and as such “hear” you as a couple and then compose your ceremony to fit with who you are.  Story telling is my passion and your love story needs to be shared, the way you wish for it to be told.

Booking a few months in advance is ideal, especially for popular dates and weekends. That said, I can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines depending on availability and location. Reaching out early gives us the time needed to create a thoughtful, unhurried ceremony.

I’m based in Auckland and work with couples throughout New Zealand. This includes destination weddings and elopements in places like Waiheke Island, Queenstown, Wanaka, and Wellington.

Absolutely. Many couples start without knowing exactly what they want to say. Through conversation and gentle guidance, I help you find words that feel natural and true to you.

Yes. Elopements and small ceremonies are some of my favourites. Whether it’s just the two of you or a small gathering, I approach every ceremony with the same care and attention.

Yes. I officiate civil unions and vow renewals with the same level of care and respect as any wedding ceremony. Each is treated as a meaningful commitment, not a secondary service.
